WARNING ABOUT DOG FOOD & DOG TREATS

From Laurel Media, Inc President and 97.5 The Hound WDDH Owner Denny Heindl...

DO NOT BUY ANY CHICKEN TREATS FOR YOUR DOG THAT IS MADE IN CHINA!

Our little Tinker contacted Fanconi Syndrome which is the disease the Chicken Treats Cause. You dog will not eat....Tink did not eat for 2 weeks and she is currently in the Hospital with an IV and will not be released until next Monday or Tuesday.

It's a very bad disease and should be caught early. it's Very Very hard to diagnose as most vets see the results as diabetes. If your dog's blood sugar tests are normal and urine test shows sugar that is the sign for the disease.

AS A PRECAUTION.....DO NOT BUY THE CHICKEN TREATS MADE IN CHINA AND READ THE LABEL VERY CLOSE AS IT'S VERY MISLEADING. My family watches the labels extremely close and did not pick up on the fact what we fed Tinker was made in China....

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT BUY ANY DOG FOOD MADE IN CHINA AND READ THE LABELS CLOSELY!!

86 MILLION POUNDS OF DOG FOOD IMPORTED FROM CHINA YEARLY. CHECK WHAT TREATS YOU ARE FEEDING UR PET......

Find out where the Source of the treats came from and DO NOT feed ur dog anything from China. There is a possibllity your dog will come down with Franconi's Syndrome and could die. Tinker came down with it and our Vet bills are substantial. She has to go to Ohio State University Vet Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and we will be working with a Nutritionist and a Urologist. It is not worthwhile to even gamble giving your pet treats imported from China. Also, the store owners selling these treats should take them off their shelves. These treats are sold at Walmart & Petsmart We were so Careful with Tinker and because of false advertising on the label we still were taken. Find out the Source of the Chicken Treats and use only MADE IN USA.

BE SURE to read the Label and call the 800# before buying any treats for your pet. If the source of the treats are not from the USA.....grown with no hormones.....no additives.....DO NOT BUY THEM. YOU COULD BE KILLING YOUR PET...........

Google Chicken Pet Treats and you will see what I am talking about. Thanks!

WKBI-FM & WKBI-AM BECOME PART OF WDDH/97.5 The Hound!

NEWS RELEASE- WKBI FM/B94 & WKBI-AM/CLASSY 1400 BECOME PART OF WDDH.

After serving this region for over 60 years with news of importance to local residents and broadcasting special, award winning programming, WKBI-FM(B94) and WKBI-AM will change hands and become part of the Laurel Media group of stations which presently includes WDDH-FM ("The Hound")

The new ownership of the stations is locally

owned and has pledged to carry on the tradition of excelled commitment to North Central Pennsylvania set by Cary H. Simpson, the present owner of the stations. Simpson started in broadcasting by putting WKBI-AM 1400 on the air in 1950. For many years, he was the only source of local radio news for residents in Elk and Cameron County.

Over the span of his long and distinguished career in radio broadcasting, Simpson was the recipient of numerous accolades. He was honored by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters by being inducted into it's legendary Gold Medal Hall Of Fame, joining the ranks of others such as Dick Clark. Always a visionary, Simpson serve on the Futures Committee of the national Association of Broadcasters.

The driving force behind the new ownership is Dennis Heindl, a long time local resident active in community and philanthropic activities, most recently leading the successful effort to save the historic train station in the Borough of Ridgway from the wrecking ball. He and his wife Rose are also the benefactors of the Ridgway High School wrestling complex and have endowed a chaired professorship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for research in brain surgery. Although not widely known, The Heindls have been bestowed by the Pope with the most prestigious award given to lay persons in the Catholic Church, for renovations done at Saint Leos Catholic Church.

Like Simpson, Heindl is committed to serving the communities of North Central Pennsylvania with local news, weather reports and provocative local programming. He is the host of the "Talk Of The Town" show, aired on WDDH which has received "The Award of Excellence, having been selected for this award from over 9000 entries. This award is The Communicator's most coveted and highest honor. The Communicator Award is the leading International Awards Program, honoring Creative Excellence for Communications Professionals. WDDH's "Talk Of The Town Show" features interesting people, places and events through out the WDDH listening area. Past guests on the program have included CNN's Lou Dobbs, Senator-Lieutenant Governor Joe Scarnati, and Mr. Dave Giovanni, the music historian who discovered that the first ever recording of sound was accomplished 17 years before Edison invented the phonograph.

Speaking of his decision to place ownership of his stations in Heindl's company, Simpson remarked, "I have known Denny Heindl for over 4 decades and feel confident about passing the torch to him, knowing that he has the highest integrity and regard for the people of this region. I wish him well". Heindl was likewise profuse with his praise for Simpson. "When I got started in broadcasting, Cary Simpson gave me my first job" heindl said, continuing "Ever since that time, I have considered him to be a role model, having core values, putting people first and having a genuine passion for serving his audience. it is my intent to continue that flame and carry on that tradition"
Naughty Doggies!!
