WATER ISSUES IN FOXBURG

IT’S BEEN A LONG WEEK IN THE FOXBURG AREA.  A BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN IN EFFECT SINCE LAST THURSDAY CAUSING ALL SORTS OF TROUBLE.  MOST NOTABLY, THE CLOSURE OF THE AC VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT.  STUDENTS WERE BACK ONLY 2 DAYS BEFORE A LEAK CAUSED THE BOIL WATER ADVISORY, WHICH SUBSEQUENTLY CAUSED THE CLOSURE OF THE SCHOOL.  TESTING IS EXPECTED TO BE DONE TODAY ON THE WATER SUPPLY.  SCHOOL DISTRICT OFFICIALS SAID THEY’LL RESUME CLASSES NEXT MONDAY REGARDLESS OF THE ADVISORY, AND WILL MAKE ANY NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS TO ENSURE CLEAN WATER FOR STUDENTS AND STAFF.
