PORT ALLEGANY PEDESTRAIN HIT BY VEHICLE

A PORT ALLEGANY RESIDENT REMAINS IN THE HOSPITAL IN BUFFALO TODAY AFTER BEING HIT BY A VEHICLE YESTERDAY IN THE BOROUGH.  MCKEAN COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY STEPHANIE VETTENBERG-SHAFFER SAYS THE INCIDENT HAPPENED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNING ONTO NORTH MAIN STREET WHEN IT STRUCK THE PEDESTRIAN, WHO WAS TRAPPED UNDER THE VEHICLE.  AFTER REMOVAL, THE RESIDENT WAS FLOWN TO ERIE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER IN BUFFALO.  NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS GIVEN.
