DUBOIS HS CLOSED FOR AIR QUALITY CONCERENS

STUDENTS AT DUBOIS AREA HIGH SCHOOL ARE HAVING AN OFF-DAY TODAY.  AND PERHAPS WILL HAVE ANOTHER TOMORROW.  THE REASON?  DUE TO AIR QUALITY CONCERNS.  SCHOOL DISTRICT OFFICIALS SAY THAT WITH THE HEAVY RAIN OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS AND HUMIDITY IN THE SCHOOL, AIR QUALITY CONCERNS HAVE BEEN RAISED.  A PROFESSIONAL CLEANING AND DEHUMIDIFICATION PROCESS IS UNDER WAY, AND WHEN TESTING OF THE AIR IS NORMAL AGAIN, SCHOOL WILL RESUME.  NOW IT’S WORTH NOTING AGAIN, IT’S ONLY THE HIGH SCHOOL AFFECTED AND NOT ANY OTHER BUILDING IN THE DISTRICT.  JEFF TECH AND PENN STATE CLASSES WILL CONTINUE AS NORMAL.
