WOMAN HURT IN JEFFERSON COUNTY ACCIDENT

IN OTHER NEWS TODAY, A FALLS CREEK WOMAN IS RECEIVING CARE FOR INJURIES SHE SUSTAINED IN A 2-VEHICLE ACCIDENT MONDAY AFTERMOON IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.  PUNXSUTAWNEY STATE POLICE TELL US IT HAPPENED AROUND 4:00 ON ROUTE 36 IN YOUNG TOWNSHIP WHEN A CAR DRIVEN BY 47-YEAR OLD STACIE CARR TURNED INTO THE PATH OF A TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVEN BY 53-YEAR OLD ROBERT BEER OF MAYPORT.  CARR WAS TAKEN TO PUNXSUTAWNEY HOSPITAL AND THEN FLOWN TO ALLEGHENY GENERAL HOSPITAL IN PITTSBURGH FOR TREATMENT.
