2 HURT IN SEPARATE MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS IN ELK COUNTY

TWO ARE RECOVERING AFTER 2 SEPARATE ELK COUNTY MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS IN THE PAST FEW DAYS.  FIRST, A JOHNSONBURG MAN LOST CONTROL OF HIS BIKE ABOUT 7:30 LAST THURSDAY EVENING ON ROUTE 255 IN RIDGWAY TOWNSHIP JUST SOUTH OF THE JOHNSONBURG BOROUGH LINE.  61-YEAR OLD BILLY BIRT WAS FLOWN TO UPMC ALTOONA FOR TREATMENT OF INJURIES HE SUSTAINED IN THE INCIDENT.

 

THE 2ND HAPPENED SATURDAY EVENING ABOUT 6:30 ON ROUTE 153 IN HORTON TOWNSHIP, ELK COUNTY.  47-YEAR OLD TERESA HULINGS OF ST. MARYS HIT A POT HOLE IN A PARKING LOT, CAUSING THE BIKE TO FALL ON TOP OF HER.  SHE WAS TAKEN TO PENN HIGHLANDS ELK FOR TREATMENT OF MINOR INJURIES.
