TORNADOES CONFIRMED IN JEFFERSON COUNTY

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS CONFIRMED THAT 2 TORNADOES TOUCHED DOWN TUESDAY EVENING IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.  THE FIRST, AN EF-0, TOUCHED DOWN ALONG ROUTE 28 IN BROOKVILLE, JUST SOUTH OF ROUTE 322 SHORTLY AFTER 5:05.  THE 2ND TOUCHED DOWN ABOUT A HALF-HOUR LATER NEAR BAXTER IN CLOVER TOWNSHIP.  THAT ONE IS CLASSIFIED AS AN EF-2.
