2 JEFFERSON COUNTY FIRES UNDER INVESTIGATION

THE INVESTIGATION INTO AN ARSON CASE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY CONTINUES TODAY.  ACCORDING TO THE STATE POLICE FIRE MARSHAL, THE FIRE WAS INTENTIONALLY SET LAST FRIDAY MORNING AROUND 3:30 AT A MAIN STREET HOME IN BROCKWAY BOROUGH.  DAMAGE IS ESTIMATED AT 5 THOUSAND DOLLARS.  NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS GIVEN ON THE CASE. 

 

ANOTHER FIRE, THIS ONE ALSO IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.  THE FIRE MARSHAL TELLS US A CAUSE HASN’T BEEN DETERMINED AS OF YET FOR THE RESIDENCE ON CAMPBELL ROAD IN SNYDER TOWNSHIP THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON ABOUT 3:50.  THE FIRE ORIGINATED ON THE FRONT PORCH OF THE HOME WHILE THE FAMILY WAS HOME.  NOBODY WAS HURT IN THE INCIDENT.
