FIRE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY

MINOR DAMAGE IS REPORTED AFTER A SUNDAY EVENING FIRE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY.  THE STATE POLICE FIRE MARSHAL WAS CALLED OUT TO AN O’DONNELL ROAD HOME IN ELDRED TOWNSHIP AROUND 6PM TO INVESTIGATE A GIRE THAT HAPPENED IN A BREEZEWAY THAT CONNECTED A GARAGE TO A HOME.  ACCORDING TO THE INVESTIGATION, THE FIRE IGNITED IN A PLASTIC GARBAGE CAN.  IT WAS QUICKLY EXTINGUISHED AND CAUSED ABOUT 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN DAMAGES.  NOBODY WAS HURT.
