SHEFFIELD HOPES TO KEEP FOOTBALL ALIVE

COULD HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL BE DONE IN SHEFFIELD THIS YEAR?  THAT’S A QUESTION ON MANY MINDS IN THE VILLAGE AS PLAYERS, COACHES AND PARENTS MEET WITH MEMBERS OF THE WARREN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS TONIGHT AT SHEFFIELD HIGH SCHOOL.  THE BOARD HAD CONCERNS COMMUNICATED TO THEM ABOUT THE NUMBER OF PLAYERS PARTICIPATING IN OFF-SEASON WORKOUTS RECENTLY.  ACCORDING TO REPORTS, MANY MORE PLAYERS HAVE COMMITTED TO PLAYING SINCE.  THE MEETING HAPPENS TONIGHT AT 7:30 AT THE SHEFFIELD HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM.
