KERSEY WOMAN KILLED IN NY CRASH

AN ELK COUNTY WOMAN IS DEAD FOLLOWING A LABOR DAY NIGHT ACCIDENT IN NEW YORK STATE.  NEW YORK STATE POLICE TELL US THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED LATE MONDAY NIGHT ON ROUTE 10 IN THE TOWN OF CAMERON IN STUBEN COUNTY WHEN 19-YEAR OLD TESSA UPDYKE OF KERSEY LOST CONTROL ON A CURVE, WHICH CAUSED HER VEHICLE TO OVERTURN MULTIPLE TIMES.  UPDYKE WAS EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE, CAUSING FATAL INJURIES.  SHE WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE.  A 17-YEAR OLD PASSENGER IN THE VEHICLE IS RECOVERING FROM INJURIES TODAY.  THE INVESTIGATION INTO THE INCIDENT CONTINUES.
